The Frascione Arte Gallery in Florence will host from September 19 until December 7, 2019 “RAM Fra Novecento e Metafisica. La Natura ricreata”, an important monographic exhibition dedicated to one of the most important Florentine artists of the first half of the Twentieth century: Ruggero Alfredo Michahelles (Florence, 1898 – 1976), known as RAM.
Curated by Susanna Ragionieri, the exhibition was possible thanks to the advice and valuable collaboration of the Curator of the THAYAHT & RAM Archive in Florence, Riccardo Michahelles, and will be a unique event to admire a rich selection of works by the artist, coming for the occasion from prestigious private collections.
The exhibition will be open to the public from September 19 until December 7, and will be included in the calendar of events of the Florence Art Week that will be held on the occasion of the 31st BIAF – The International Artfair of Florence.
VERROCCHIO, MASTER OF LEONARDO
From 9 March to 14 July 2019, Palazzo Strozzi, Florence
Andrea del Verrocchio, an emblematic artist of the Florentine Renaissance, will be celebrate in a major exhibition showcasing over 120 paintings, sculptures and drawings from the world’s leading museums and collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of New York, the Musée du Louvre in Paris, the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Gallerie degli Uffizi in Florence.
The exhibition, curated by two leading experts in the art of 15th Century, Francesco Caglioti and Andrea De Marchi, is one of the flagship events in the programme of celebrations marking the 500th anniversary of Leonardo’s death and is the first retrospective ever devoted to Verrocchio, while also exploring the early years of Leonardo di Vinci’s career and providing an overview of artistic output in Florence from roughly 1460 to 1490, the age of Lorenzo the Magnificent.

Opere e disegni in mostra
The exhibition ‘La bottega di Leonardo. Opere e disegni in mostra’ takes place at Palazzo Cavour in Turin from February 9th to May 12th. It will be a good chance to admire and understand the extraordinary complexity of the production by Leonardo da Vinci himself and his followers: Marco d’Oggiono, Cesare da Sesto, Gian Giacomo Caprotti, Bernardo Luini e Giovan Pietro Rizzoli detto Giampietrino.
